The website and private-beta add-on.

The website, including Quick Convert and Editor, can be used without a Google account. The add-on requires a Google account only when it is installed for testing or later public use.

Designed for people age 13 and older.

ithrion AI is intended for people age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Users under the age of majority should use the service only with the permission and supervision required by their parent, guardian, school, and local law. Do not submit a student's name, contact information, school identifier, grades, health information, or other sensitive personal information.

Only content you choose to submit.

• Images chosen, dropped, or pasted into Quick Convert or Editor handwriting conversion.
• Mathematical language highlighted and intentionally sent for conversion.
• LaTeX and other text submitted through a requested website feature.
• Basic operational request data used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

Editor documents stay in that browser.

Editor documents and titles autosave in the browser's local storage; they are not intentionally uploaded as complete documents or stored by the ithrion AI server. Uploaded images and AI inputs are processed in memory and are not intentionally persisted by application code. Clearing the site's browser data removes locally saved Editor documents. Export important notes before clearing browser data or changing devices.

Google user data accessed.

The private-beta add-on can access text, LaTeX, or an image that the user explicitly selects in the currently open Google Doc or Slides presentation. It can insert or replace content in that current file. It does not request Drive-wide access and does not send an entire document or presentation to Gemini.

Optional settings, counters, feedback, and up to 50 recent operations are stored in that user's Apps Script User Properties. A random add-on identifier, not an email address, supports fair-use limits and abuse prevention. Reversible equation metadata stays on the equation image in the open file.

AI and third-party processing.

Content is sent for AI processing only after the user starts a conversion, handwriting, explanation, or correction action. The content needed for that request is transmitted over HTTPS to the authenticated ithrion AI backend and then to Google's Gemini API.

Google processes API inputs, outputs, technical data, and safety signals under the Gemini API Additional Terms and its privacy terms. Google's treatment depends on the API plan: Google states that unpaid-service inputs and outputs may be used to improve its products and may be reviewed by people, while paid-service prompts and responses are not used for product improvement but may be logged for a limited period for safety, security, and legal purposes.

Because the operator's API plan can change, do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifying content. Server-side credentials are never returned to users. MathJax and Quill are served directly by ithrion AI for local preview, equation rendering, and editing.

To provide the feature you request.

Data is used only to provide the requested conversion, recognition, explanation, correction, rendering, restoration, editing, history, security, and troubleshooting functions. ithrion AI does not sell user data, use it for advertising, or build advertising profiles.

User controls and deletion.

Website users can remove selected images, reset a conversion, clear the site's browser storage, or stop using the service. Add-on users can disable or clear history, remove uploaded images, restore supported equation images to LaTeX, uninstall the add-on, and revoke Google Account permissions. For an additional privacy or deletion request, use the support page.

Safeguards reduce risk.

ithrion AI uses HTTPS, restricted browser policies, input and output validation, image-size and integrity limits, constrained AI actions, rate limits, non-public server credentials, and, for the add-on, current-file OAuth scopes and authenticated backend requests. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Google API Limited Use.

ithrion AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
